Seven Hills, Urban renewal Department of Housing The proposed concept consisted of a guideline and an analytical approach to undertake the required measures so as to achieve a successful Urban Renewal on the subject Site. The objective was to achieve a desirable socio-economic outcome. This could only be achieved by providing a higher level of continuity of the urban fabric. The proposed Master Plan would provide a link between the two precincts. This link would allow for a sustainable socio-economical growth. A new commercial space would be created in such a way as to complement the existing commercial activities and at the same time determine dynamic streetscapes full of life. The proposed residential and commercial built form would be characterised by an attempt to achieve “continuity” at different levels: Continuity of the built form, continuity of commercial activities as well as continuity of the residential component and street definition
